We Shall Overcome: Raising Our Voices Together
This program weaves together a variety of segments including poems created through the LCC Community-Generated Poetry Project led by English Professor Barb Clauer, insights from History Professor Jeff Janowick, interviews with LCC student Nimo Mire, Education & Sociology Professor Willie Davis, Chief Diversity Officer Tonya Bailey and President Steve Robinson, and a world premiere arrangement of “We Shall Overcome” by Anthony Feimster Jr. (@feimstro on social media) performed by the LCC Virtual Community Choir.
